The shared kitchen at Black Sheep Backpackers was clean and well-stocked, making it convenient to prepare meals. The lounge area provided a fun and engaging space for both adults and children, with games to keep everyone entertained. Additionally, the laundry facilities were a bonus, allowing us to catch up on our laundry during our stay. While we didn't get a chance to use the spa, it was a nice feature to have available.

We stayed in a 6-person room with a street view, and the curtains provided privacy and reduced noise. The beds were comfortable, and having our own power point was very convenient. The lounge area was spacious and had a good atmosphere with Netflix and board games available. The hotel was relatively close to the city centre.

    Nothing all excellent.

The social area had a cool vibe and the staff were friendly. The free bonuses were a nice touch, especially the bikes.

During my xmas stay, the kitchen was a mess. The utensils were always in short supply and there was no space to store food.

During my Christmas stay, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfort of the private king room. the location of the hotel was ideal. It was conveniently situated within walking distance to the town center, making it easy for me to explore the area.

There were a few aspects that I was not entirely satisfied with. I was disappointed to discover that some of the toilets and showers were under construction.

The Black Sheep Backpackers really impressed me with its attention to detail. The rooms were well-designed, with comfortable beds and amazing views of the surrounding area. The shared bathroom facilities were clean and well-maintained. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect, right beside the Queenstown gardens and within walking distance of everything you need.

my stay at this hotel was fantastic and there was nothing that I felt could be improved.

We had an amazing stay at Black Sheep Backpackers! the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. the kitchen facilities were excellent, and we loved that the door was open for more ventilation. the glass walls allowed for plenty of natural light, creating a pleasant atmosphere. the rooms were comfortable and clean, with twin beds and a nice TV. We were pleasantly surprised to find a selection of free DVDs to watch. the spa was also a great perk, and we made use of the free towels provided. we were super impressed with the amount of facilities offered at this backpackers. We can't wait to stay here again next year!

Could not be improved in any way. 🌟.

The prices are very affordable, making it an ideal choice for those on a budget. The staff are lovely and helpful, just like in the reviews. They go out of their way to provide recommendations and ensure your stay is enjoyable. The basic amenities and shared bathrooms are always kept clean and well-maintained. Plus, the hotel's location is a major highlight. It is right on a busy street, but what's really special is that it's just beside the Queenstown garden. It offers an amazing view and the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

All was fine, no improvements needed.

The rooms, with shared bathrooms, are clean and comfortable, with added features like a TV and kettle. Additionally, the hotel's location is perfect, situated right on a bustling street with easy access to the Queenstown gardens and breathtaking mountain views.

Free bike rental and hot tub access were nice perks. the location was great- walking distance to everything.

The bathrooms were a major inconvenience, as they were located outside of the room and inconvenient to access in cold weather. the kitchen closed too early, leaving no options for late-night snacks or hot water.

This hotel is conveniently located between bus stops, allowing for easy transportation around the area. the room had a comfortable bed, and the service at breakfast was top-notch. the view from the hotel was stunning, with breathtaking scenery all around. the hotel offered several leisure facilities, such as a pool and gym, which were great for adults looking for some relaxation time.

The wifi connection was unreliable and slow.

I had a wonderful stay at a budget hostel with comfy beds and private curtains for added privacy. The kitchen had plenty of equipment, but the fridge space was limited. The location was convenient, although the bathroom was outside and not ideal during colder months. I would recommend this hostel for short stays.
